HU SUI, better known as Coriander or Cilantro, is extensively used as a condiment or food garnish around the world. Its health benefits are just as extensive. It is rich in iron and vitamin C. It has eleven essential oils, as well as linoleic, and palmitic acids. It acts as a diuretic, aiding the body to rid itself of excess water, which together with its antirheumatic and antiarthritic properties help decrease the inflammation and joint pain of Rheumatoid Arthritis patients. It increases the insulin secretion from the pancreas, lowering our glucose level, being especially beneficial for diabetics. It is an antimicrobial and antifungal which prevents urinary tract infections. Its acids and essential oils decrease the blood cholesterol level and also minimize the deposition of fat on the arterial walls. It is also an anticarcinogen and helps boost our immune systems. It aids the digestion process and prevents nausea and intestinal gas.
